As a designer, I pride myself on many things, such as quality, efficiency, and collaboration. Being from Appalachia, I am a nature lover and draw a lot of inspiration from the world around me.
With a Bachelor’s in Game Design and Interactive Media, I have a wide set of skills ranging from HTML, C, Web Design, Unreal Engine 5, Project Management, Version Control, Photoshop, Premiere, UI/UX.
I have been the Project Lead of a UE5 project called Derby for 2 years of my college career, and took the game to GDC 2025 with MonRiverGames to promote the game and the program.
Projects
Dodge, shoot, and survive in “Derby”, a high-speed rogue-like movement shooter! Play as a roller-skating Blue Heeler armed with a tennis ball launcher, fighting waves of robotic enemies, and stacking power-ups. Fast, fluid, and endlessly replayable! Can you out-skate the chaos?
As the Project Lead for the Derby, I created its original concept an have overseen it progress since March of 2024 until May of 2025. Guiding a team of 12 individuals with a wide range of experience from internships with indie companies to self-taught developers with varying skillsets.
Derby was created using Unreal Engine 5.4 and organized and controlled through GitHub. As the lead, I was in charge of merging all content from all creators, clearing any errors, and ensuring that all new content is compatible.
West Virginia Vice Fly Company(WVVFC) is a website I created using Squarespace with my own custom filter system for all products on the website, and I have added custom CSS to pushes the limitation of Squarespace.
All digital content on the site is created by me for my client and their brand image.
As the lead programmer for the short flash game. I created the core gameplay loop around checking the ID of patrons entering a Bar. You must achieve a high enough score to move on to the progressively harder nights, slowly introducing new things to test the player.
